FBnCC: Global Warmer's Lament
(a parody of "Jack's Lament", from "The Nightmare Before Christmas") Global Warmer: :music: There are few who deny, at what I do, I am the best, For my talents are renowned, far and wide. When it comes to a spotlight, in the moonlit night, I excel, without ever even trying. With the slightest little effort of my fiery charms, I’ve caused Man-Arctica to shriek! With a wave of my staff, and a well-placed blow, I have swept the very coldest of his feet! But time after time, it’s the same routine, And I’ve grown so weary from the agony of defeat, And I, yes, the fire king, Have grown so tired of the same old thing… Oh, somewhere, deep inside of this core, An emptiness began to grow, There’s something else, unheard of, before, A longing that I’ve never known… I’m a master of flame, but unlucky in fame, Any liars get fire to their pants. From here, to Kentucky, I end up unlucky, And I’ve never seen Italy, or France. Now, some folks have said I’m insane in the head, To create

(int.: the "Sympathy for Villains Club"; this evening, the sympathetic villains are now overcome with sadness, thinking that no one, in any world, will offer them sympathy for their deeds. In his office, the club's founder, Sideshow Bob, is looking at a portrait of his family, and at a stuffed toy version of a dead Bart Simpson, yet, he feels empty, inside.)
Sideshow Bob: (sighs sadly, and looks to the heavens) :music:I don't know if you can hear me,
Or if you're even there.
I don't know if you would listen
To a villain's prayer.
Yes, I know I'm just an outcast,
I shouldn't speak to you.
Still, I see your face, and wonder,
"Where you once a

Now, just how to earn sympathy...?:music:

Sideshow Bob: Then, they sent me straight to jail after I got foiled by that treacherous Bart Simpson and his family!
Global Warmer: How tragic... (pours more hot sauce into his drink, and eventually drinks the rest of the hot sauce straight out of the bottle)
King Goobot: Yes, but my sacrific
I have two books out that help teach climate change and global warming to children in a gentle way. They focus on the positives and what we can all do to make the Changes for a more sustainable planet Earth. It’s okay if not interested, but thought this would be the perfect group for them.
